MICOSYEN is an acronym for
MIcro
COmputer
SYstems
ENgineering. The name may suffer from the
problems of colloquial pronunciation usually associated with acronymism,
but when typed into an Internet search engine, little else comes up.
If you care, you can see some
things I have designed, or
read about my fundamental design philosophies.
Incongruous as it may be to the actual purpose of this site, these links must
exist to justify the claims made to certain Gestapo-worshiping government
agencies (namely the one whose name ends in "Service", and noting
particularly that the "service" offered is the same as one might
find at a stud farm) that this site exists for marketing purposes.
That said, this whole domain exists primarily so that I can get stuff I might
need when working at a client's site. You are welcome to whatever is here,
but unless you design embedded systems, write code in assembly or have an
interest in computer-controlled radios or compressed digital audio, there
is not likely too much here that could interest you.
You may find some satire and sarcasm here, but you will not find pop-up
windows, sponsors, advertisements, endorsements or affiliate marketing. The
trend toward compromising intent and purpose with glitz, gimmickry and the
3-cent profit ends with these pages. There will never be any huge images,
intense graphics, crashing Java applets, virus-ridden Visual Basic scripts,
Flash animations or sound files preceding the links to real information.
Consistent with the MICOSYEN
philosophy of design, is the need for simple and basic HTML pages. The
Internet is a huge collection of everything, more and more of it every day
a complete waste of time, seemingly devoted to spreading ignorance at the
speed of light. Call it bland, call it boring, but this place shall
always remain a welcome antithesis.
