CDP.EXE- CD Player for Windoze
Microsoft and Windoze XP can cram Windoze Media Player and its DRM attitude. What you play on your computer is nobody's business but your own. CDP.EXE may not do all, but it is incredibly small, requires no Windoze install or support files, writes nothing to the registry and plays CDs without reporting anything to anybody.

Invocation and options:
Invocation is by any of the normal means of starting up a Windoze application. If a CD is in the drive or one is placed in the drive, it will be played. When started, CDP.EXE will search for cdplayer.ini and search c:\Program Files\Audiograbber\ and the default Windoze path for the file discs.txt and load whichever is found first. Artist, album and track names will be displayed if either file is loaded and a match is found for the CD being played. The controls are self-explanitory.

Note that the middle button changes to or and alters its function accordingly, depending on context.

Clicking on the progress bar seeks to the point clicked.

Hovering over the title bar pops up a window displaying track information:

There are two types of windows, depending on whether the CD database is loaded and the CD is found in it.

There are no options.
